Emergency Services Committee

Charter

The Emergency Services Committee (ESC) reports directly to the Cumberland County Board of Supervisors (BOS) and is responsible to advise and make recommendations to the BOS on all areas as they relate to emergency services communications. Such areas are defined as but not limited to:

  • Communications
  • Organization design/personnel
  • Technology
  • Economic Development
  • Education/training
  • Public Safety

 

Scheduled Meetings

Third Thursday of each month, 7:00 PM at the Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department (dinner at 6:00 PM) unless otherwise indicated.

Cumberland County Emergency Services Mapbook is available for download by all fire and rescue agencies for placement in vehicles.

Cumberland County Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP) is available for download for review by selected invdividuals.

Cumberland/Cartersville Rescue Service Area Revision is being revised presently and is under final review by the ESC and County BOS. The suggested service boundary and associated metrics are available for download.
